8/1/09:
Hi there! There are only 2 Shepard Fairey x Arkitip issues left in stock here, grab it while you still can. While surfing the internet yesterday, I came across this post about Jude Law - lo and behold he's wearing the Reflections Logo Scarf! You can too - check out the Accessories page if you've been inspired. I am also just getting ready to post the new mini notebooks by Ramsey Dau. I love these little guys.

6/20/09: Hello Friends! Just posted 3 new items for you! The new Arkitip has landed and I only have a couple so better act fast. Ben Jone's "New Painting & Drawing" is amazing, you may know him better as being one of the founding members of art collective Paper Rad, and if you like alternative country / folk music or just plain old talent, Peggy Honeywell's Green Mountain is sure to satisfy your ears.

6/1/09: Hey hey! Just sayin' hi! Thanks for all your nice comments recently! Glad to hear you're all still keepin' up with the ole' Busy-Being! Shepard Fairey x Arkitip new issue is out on June 18th! All you Fairey fans better get in line!

5/13/09: Updater! Hey new products are up and running and they're all good! These newest round of goodies come from dear friends and satisfaction is guaranteed!

4/21/09: Hello! I've really lagged between updates here - so sorry. Just wanted to let you know that in response to your many inquiries yes - the Princess Tina Rain Cloud pendants are back in stock, among other things you have emailed about, but not the Cody Hudson mug (sorry, limited edition is truly limited). Hope you'll take a minute to check out the blog now and then because I do actually update that more frequently than the shop and it is good proof that I have not fallen off the face the earth, I've just been being really busy the last several months. I intend to blow up the Busy-Being shop (in the best way possible) around the holidays, so if you're not on the email list go ahead and sign up because I usually send out a discount coupon to you guys around then, and you'll only get about 2(ish) email blasts from Busy-Being each year in an effort to not aggravate your spam box. In other news, we're doing good things at New Image Art and if you're in LA come by any Wednesday thru Saturday and say hi. That's all for now, thank you for your continued orders and nice emails and hope to check in with you again soon!

See ya out there!

4/26/06: First off I’d like thank to everyone at ANP for the nice BB Article!

I’ve been MIA for a while and in the meantime tons of new products have been stacking up over here. For the past few months I’ve been in full on mom mode; I’m home-schooling my son, which has fully become my round’ the clock job. I know it sounds either totally hippie or born-again, but it’s neither and has been / is very cool – and I’m proud to say he’s still a well-adjusted, sociable person. Anyhow, that in combination with traveling, about to move – and then not moving, working here and there, having a personal life, getting gnarly sick, friends, family drama, etc. etc. has truly brought the old cliché of life being like a roller-coaster to reality the past couple months. Not a Ferris wheel but one of those roller-coasters at Six Flags where you’re strapped into "flying chairs" racing at intense speed with your feet dangling in the air - no track above your head, no coach around your seat - screaming through a series of drop-twist maneuvers, you know? Whatever, I’m not complaining, bring it on.

So now that we’re all here together again, there is a bunch of new stuff to check out!! Such as: Princess Tina jewels, pillows, clothing, and bags, plus Baby Princess Tina is coming in a matter of weeks! Also, don’t forget that Mother’s Day is May 14th! The PT “Mama” Pin makes a nice gift if you can’t be there to take her to brunch. Let me know and I’ll wrap it up pretty for her. New Kozyndan items: shirts, prints, and bags. Also, The Drama Issue 7, Arikitip 31-33, Dungeon – a new zine by the Poison Control guys. Anyhow, there are at least 2 dozen new products to keep you busy and more on the way!

Thanks for stopping by, come back any time!

2/7/06: Whew!! Absolutely crazy over here, I can't even get into it! I've finally got the Delphi T's up - very sorry that took so long, I've actually had them for a bit. Sizes and quantities are limited and won't be available again. I've only got men's sizes left. Sorry ladies, I'll make sure there's plenty for us next season.

We're heading out to San Francisco tomorrow for the next BB produced show this Sat. Feb.11: 'Good Grief' featuring Rotgut, Rich Jacobs, and Jordin Isip at the AfterModern Gallery. Hope you can make it. Then we're off to Milan for 'Beautiful Losers' and spending Valentine's Day in Venice, which I am very excited about, especially because it's our (mine and Angelo's - Angelo is my son) first time there. One day when I become more html savvy I'll link some pics.

Anyhow, when I get back I've got new Kozyndan tees and totes, as well as The Drama, Arkitip, and Princess Tina's ever popular rain cloud pendants, earrings, and charm bracelets will be re-stocked for ya. Hope all's well, be back soon!

12/1/05: Yes, I am way overdue for an update! Just when I thought things were slowing down they get faster than ever! So, here we are and the holidays are just around the corner - crazy! There's some great new products in, especially the new Princess Tina stuff, which you all love so much. The Dr. Hotdog shirts are also a hot new item, as well as the Dazzle Dogs catalog featuring Clare Rojas, Andrew Jeffrey Wright, and Erin Rosenthal. New Delphi tees will be here in time for X-Mas too!

I've been spending most of my time on my upcoming show 'Out Of Doors' which is will be opening next Friday, Dec. 10th in San Francisco, I'd love to see you there - or least tell your friends!

More upcoming exhibitions to share with you soon. Happy Holidays to you!

8/8/05: Hello! The Cody Hudson / Sturggle Inc / Busy-Being mugs are here and looking great so have your cuppa in one of these.
